Color Scheme is extremely important in Web Design. A well organized, informative site can easily be ruined by an abrasive color scheme. Bad color choices can make your site hard to read or just plain hard on the eyes. This is a good article I found on the subject written by Carrie Cousins.

I was perusing Netflix on my PS3 the other day and found a documentary called "Nerdcore Rising". It documented an early tour by Frontalot and his band. Very cool, funny and interesting stuff. If you haven't had a chance to check out his music and you like hip hop and well written and delivered lyrics, I would highly recommend you get some of this in your ear holes.

JavaScript Passes Java in Popularity in Open Source Knowledge Base
Interesting stuff. I work in both Java and Javascript and am not surprised that Java use has declined in the past two years.
